The Royal Windsor Horse Show (RWHS) is a world-famous horsing event with many different equine disciplines to be enjoyed. It is held every year in May in the private grounds of Windsor Castle, one of the Queen’s residences in Berkshire, England. It is the only time that the public is allowed to walk around the private grounds of the castle and began as a way to raise funds for the war in 1943. The show includes several events, held in five arenas, that are attended by the Queen and other members of the royal family. Although there is no strict dress code, if a person is fortunate enough to have a ticket for the Members’ Enclosure, they will need to dress smartly.
NA-KD have a vast collection of elegant party dresses, so it is easy to find a design suitable for any occasion. Beautiful dresses that come in different lengths, such as mini, midi and maxi, and a range of vibrant colours. NA-KD’s collection allows ladies to dress up in style in a variety of fabrics, including satin, cotton, sequin, chiffon and fine knitted materials. Classic cocktail dresses, off the shoulder, deep back dresses and V-neck satin maxi dresses, among many others, will make any occasion feel special. With different sleeve lengths and neck details, the choices really are tremendous.
Many events can be found at the RWHS, including showjumping, dressage, displays, showing and driving events. The 5* international showjumping takes place over the four days of the show and has the world’s best riders competing for a substantial prize. The displays are spectacular shows filled with excitement and are watched around the world. The Musical Ride of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment involves full ceremonial dress for horse and rider who display their skill while accompanied by music. For more excitement, The Musical Drive of the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery has an array of galloping teams of horses pulling field guns, crowned with a full gun salute at the end.
In addition to the Endurance and Dressage competitions, there are 4* International Carriage Driving championships. These carriage driving competitions take place over the four days of the event and include teams of horses (two or four) and drivers. One of them, the Land Rover International Driving Grand Prix, sees the driven dressage on Thursday and Friday, the marathon on Saturday, and the cone driving on Sunday. The showing competitions are a mixture of ridden and in-hand championships, covering over 130 classes. These classes are so prestigious that they signal the beginning of the showing season.

While tens of thousands attend the show every year, it is advised to book early to obtain tickets. The alternative is to watch the different events on television.
